Flemington Markets – Sydney

Flemington markets. Not as amusing as Playstation would be for kids, but amusing for adults if employing them as a personal bag carrier? The benefit of visiting the markets is quite clear. You have a variety of sellers to choose from where you can compare produce and prices (although there isn’t much discrepancy in price across stalls). Great place to visit if you are in the habit of picking and choosing your produce rather than buying what’s left over after everyone has touched and thrown back into the pile.

Cafe Sopra – Danks St, Waterloo

If you are driving down Danks Street, look out for the tall dark wood engraved doors. On the ground level is Fratelli Fresh- the providore, where you will find a gorgeous selection of seasonal vegetables, fresh herbs, olive oils and imported cheeses. Even if you don’t cook, you will be tempted to purchase some produce, because really, something as simple as a unfingernailed mushroom looks so inspiring!
